This Covered 6 Carrying Concealed Weapon (CCW) online training course is for out-of-state applicants and is required by the Ventura County Sheriff Department in order to obtain a CCW in Ventura County, California. In this (16) hour online course students will learn the required training in firearm safety and the law of the permissible use of a firearm. We also cover drawing from a concealed holster, weapon selection, use of force options, and then complete the mandatory practical application drills in dry fire, flashlight techniques, and firearms cleaning and maintenance.

This is a (16) hour course. This is a self study online course on the Covered 6 Institute LMS platform where you will earn a certificate of completion and a certificate for passing the Final Exam. This MUST be completed prior to attending the in person qualification training in your state. Instructions will be sent to you after your purchase of this course.
